INFORMATION & REFERRAL

Resource Centers are now available in every development, high-rise, and low-rise.  Resident Services Staff are available to provide assistance upon referral from a site manager.  For additional information contact your manager or call (815) 489 -8596.

SERVICE COORDINATORS

Service Coordinators provide outreach services to residents of high-rise and low-rise buildings.  They coordinate events, workshops, classes and assist with applications for public aid, Medicare, SSI, energy assistance, and circuit breaker. THE NEIGHBORHOOD NETWORK CENTERS 

The NNC in partnership with Rock Valley College and Junior Achievement will provide computer classes for adults and youth:  Basic skills, keyboarding, employment search, and surfing the internet. There will also be help for students to improve their academics. Neighborhood Centers will be located at Brewington Oaks, Fairgrounds, and Orton Keyes.  The Neighborhood Network Centers’ goal is to connect the neighbors of the Rockford Housing Authority with the world.  Please contact Gerald Weston or Angel Mackey at 489-8625 for dates and times.
